This breed is exceptionally good adapted to the continental dry hot climate of southern Ukraine.
Specific reproductive characteristic
Reproductive ability of Red Steppe cattle is good in normal conditions of feeding and management (in average 90 or more calves from 100 cows).
Other special qualities
Good reaction at improving of management and feeding conditions, high payment of feed by milk, which has a relatively low fat content and solids in milk. Animals are poorly accustomed to industrial technologies.
