Strong walkers. Adapted to poor pastures and grazing in harsh and arid conditions.

High rusticity. Resistence to the shortfall of feed, and the weight lost is quickly recovered when conditions are better

Excellent maternal ability. Ewes crossed whith type beef males. Lambing/year: 1.5. Lambing rate: 110- 140%.

As ewes are good milkers it guarantees high quality suckling lambs.

Color comments
White whit black around eyes, on ear tips, muzzle and the end part of feet; rarely brown. Semi-open fleece. Pure breed animals have to had uniformed pigmentation of the black areas.
